Welcome to our new website! We are King's College London's Environmental society. We aim to promote practical, hands-on green living in and around the campuses, and provide a forum for shared learning and experience through environmental campaigns and action.

A key part of what we do is provide arenas for intellectual debate on global environmental issues. So we organise visits to film screenings, lectures, plays and workshops that are really interesting and always good fun. This is something we want to take further so if there's an environmental issue you want to debate about then let us know and we'll try to find an organisation willing to come and talk to us about it.

Our ongoing community project is an allotment on a King's sports ground in North Dulwich, and have other community projects in the pipelines. We believe that unused green space is a potential fertile ground for all kinds of plant life, be it flowers, herbs or vegetables. We have recently started planning to start a garden on the Terrazza balcony at the Strand campus, where anyone will be free to contribute.

The society is open to all environmentally minded King’s students, regardless of experience or skill. So if you want to help make King's greener, and learn more about taking action to help the environment, get in touch!
